Life before Jackie I did not know anything about nutrition or how foods affected me. I just ate
whatever whenever and over time it caught up to me where I no longer felt good after eating. I was trying to figure out how I can adjust this by working with Jackie.
My physical results have been amazing! I lost 50 pounds because I started working with Jackie inside MWLA. I have reached the lowest weight I’ve been since 8 or so years. Physically I look and feel so much better in my own skin and that’s also majorly due to mental and spiritual growth as well. All three of those things go hand in hand and having the right mindset can be difficult but it is key to being successful in regards to your goals.
The best thing that happened to me since working with Jackie and joining MWLA is that I was able to unlock my true self. I have hidden parts of myself for years and learning how to live a healthy lifestyle in multiple aspects has given me the confidence to be authentically me.
Working with Jackie is seriously the best thing you could for yourself!! You will learn how to adjust your lifestyle to make positive changes that will lead to long term results. Weight loss isn’t just about losing weight and it will affect you in ways you never realized were possible. Jackie will be there for you for every step of the way in learning how to accept and love the changes you are making for yourself. From my experience, a coach is necessary if you are lost and have not been seeing the results that you want to see. I can’t imagine seeing such amazing scale and non-scale success in 6 months if I didn’t have someone there for me by my side.
My experience working with Jackie is the best thing I could’ve done for myself and there’s no better investment than yourself and your health. I have learned a different approach towards food that will carry with me for a lifetime. It’s hard in the beginning to change old habits, but it gets easier and will eventually become second nature. I never thought I would lose as much weight as I did, especially in only half a year. I believe the knowledge I gained and the lifestyle I now have will lead me to long term sustainable results. I still enjoy everything I used to eat when I was overweight, just now with healthy swaps and in moderation. I feel so much better and am happy to know now how to take care of my body. Working with Jackie isn’t like being on a diet, it’s learning how to have a balanced lifestyle forever.
After decades of following fad diets I had developed such a poor relationship with food. My
emotional eating and hunger/fullness cues were completely out of control- these behaviors were
evident with the excess weight I was carrying…85+lbs to be exact. My joints hurt, my body ached and I was very uncomfortable in my own skin.
I connected with Jackie right away. Her passion for what she does is very evident when you speak with her…there is an enthusiasm in the tone of her voice. Also, another huge point that stood out for me was that she used to be overweight and completely understands the struggles of shedding stubborn excess weight. Most of the other dietitians/nutritionists I had spoken to before had never been overweight in their lives.
I have lost 30+lbs in 4 months. My blood work has improved and overall feeling more confident. Went from a size 16 to a 12. I definitely feel like I’m standing taller.
Being connected with Jackie and the MWLA ladies daily and receiving feedback daily has been such a great way for the accountability I need & want. Jackie also has a very gentle approach for reconditioning my emotional eating habits and helping me with feelings of guilt and anxiety when it comes to food. The amount of information and guidance I received during weekly coaching calls was a shift in my success of dealing with road trips, traveling, dinner parties & birthday/graduation celebrations. These events are not challenges for me anymore…They are events I enjoy without feeling guilty or anxious about food anymore. I’m learning my best portion control is listening to my hunger & fullness cues- being in tune with my body and really listening to when I’m hungry and when I’m full has helped me shed 30+lbs in 4 months. Jackie never once told me what to eat, how much to eat or when to eat…all she has done is teach me mindful eating. It works!!!
Jackie’s approach is different than any other weight loss program. It’s hard to explain it, & will not understand it until you do it. My advice would be to trust your intuition- and when you feel a sense of readiness DO IT. Jackie’s system works. Trust me, I’m a recovered professional marathon dieter- this is different. It works! Thank you for all that you do Jackie. You have a gift in changing lives.
I’m so happy about how I look and feel about my body again! I feel empowered with sustainable changes. My goals were to lose weight, feel/get healthier, fit into my clothes again, and make sustainable changes.
Jackie’s approach is very practical where you’re not obsessing over calories and macros. I was even able to have dessert and/or alcohol when I really craved those things and not beat myself up over it.
By the end of coaching with Jackie, I was down 15 pounds and comfortably fitting into dresses that had been too tight for me. I no longer suffered from that afternoon crash/fatigue or bloated unhealthy feeling. I had more energy which allowed me to exercise more and be more present with my kids. Another great bonus was that my family is eating healthier alongside me. It’s a win win! Jackie is positive, supportive, and she knows what she’s doing!
Jackie is obviously very knowledgeable about nutrition but doesn’t overwhelm you with the minutiae. I think her own weight loss journey is so inspiring because she has lived through any of the struggles you might experience as a client. After meeting with her, I felt like, this is definitely something I can do, I just needed the tools and strategies to do it. She is real and funny and great to work with. She is your partner and cheerleader and your success is her success!
I was so tired of how I felt in my body. I was so unhappy but hid it from everyone. No one knew how I really felt. I followed Jackie for about a year & just loved her content. She was so positive & it made my day brighter after seeing her reels or posts.
I decided it was time for me to start thinking about myself & take care of me. Within a few weeks inside MWLA, I lost about 15 lbs but it might be more than that as I decided to put my scale away. I’m almost down 2 pant sizes. I love I feel & how my clothes fit on me. My initial goal weight was less however I figured out that goal was not tangible for me. It was much less than I need to be in order to look & feel healthy.
The best thing was meeting & working with Jackie. She is such a beacon of light that radiates positive energy to everyone she works with. She is truly such a blessing & I am forever grateful for her.
If you are looking to work with someone who is very knowledgeable, compassionate about their job & others, then Jackie is your person. She helped me lose weight, learn about listening to what my body truly needs, & feel good about myself again.
Before starting MWLA with Jackie, I was constantly trying every diet you can think of. I was
always looking for the ‘quick fix’ and was a crash dieter. When I got to my goal weight, I would binge eat and gain everything back. It was an awful mindset. I came across Jackie’s Mindful Weight Loss Academy and was taught how to listen to my body. I didn’t cut out ‘bad foods’ and not once did I feel starved. Through this program, Jackie taught me how to have a healthy relationship with food, to slow down and actually enjoy the nutrients that I was putting into my body. I was able to drop weight and have kept it off. Cannot be happier with this program and Jackie is incredible. She’s so sweet and always answers all of my questions! If you’re on the fence, I highly suggest you give it a try!
